At the age of seven, just like her father and uncle in her childhood, she learned to dive with her grandfather Jacques and became his favourite granddaughter aboard the 'Calypso'. An environmental activist, marine ecologist, filmmaker and photographer, Alexandra travels the seven seas advocating in defence of the oceans. Her grandfather and father explored the wonders of the sea and she is following in their footsteps to save them. She has also founded her own non-profit organisation, Blue Legacy, from which she promotes a better world.
